What it feels like to be an overseas fan

It sucks.

It’s a form of extended torture as you wait for new episodes and look through Tumblr or any social media for that matter as fans from the “east coast” and “west coast” get their weekly fill. You get to be notified by active Twitteratis about spoilers and what have you and so, you learned to stay away.

It’s a form of sad longing as you see posts of other fans lining up for the premiere. You get to see their photos as you sit in your dark room questioning god and the universe of the injustice.

It’s a level of jealousy you never really wish to have but how can you not when you see them posing with your idol.

There in the hollow light coming from your laptop is where all the interaction you could have with them at least for the short run if you’re lucky.

“I should have been there. I could have been there.” you say to yourself as you rock back and forth looking at the day old photos of the event you’re just seeing.

Sucks, right?
